The aim of the study is to assess the short term outcomes of mitral 
valve repair with respect to Freedom from progression/recurrence of moderate/severe MS/MR. 
Transthoracic echocardiography was routinely performed during preoperative period, before 
discharge from hospital, during follow ups and before planning any redo-procedures
