Background: Coronary Artery Disease (CAD) has been one of the leading causes of mortality worldwide. X-ray based catheter angiography (DSA) has remain the gold standard test for the diagnosis of CAD. Though it has the advantage that in case of significant lesions angioplasty can be performed in the same setting hence it is preferred in case of acute presentations. However invasive nature of DSA, is a limitation in stable patients, thus arising a need of alternative, non invasive diagnostic tests such as CT coronary angiography, which can effectively be uses as screening tool.
