Background: Worldwide, glaucoma is a leading cause of permanent blindness, and systemic 
hypertension may have a role in the disease's pathophysiology. That being said, there is still no 
solid evidence linking perfusion pressure, systemic hypertension, and glaucoma—especially in 
the Indian population. The study investigated the connection between glaucoma, perfusion 
pressure, and systemic hypertension in an adult Indian population.
