Background: Worldwide, glaucoma is a leading cause of permanent blindness, and systemic
hypertension may have a role in the disease's pathophysiology. That being said, there is still no
solid evidence linking perfusion pressure, systemic hypertension, and glaucoma—especially in
the Indian population. The study investigated the connection between glaucoma, perfusion
pressure, and systemic hypertension in an adult Indian population.
