Abstract

:Cardiovascular disease, a global health concern, is exacerbated by chronic kidney 
disease (CKD). Atherosclerosis, a hallmark of cardiovascular disease, is understudied in relation to 
femoral artery intima-media thickness (IMT) in CKD patients. This study explores the association 
between femoral artery IMT and atherosclerosis in CKD, considering the unique pathophysiological 
mechanisms of CKD
