BackgroundPathological fractures of the proximal humerus due to metastatic bone disease 
cause severe pain, limited upper limb functionality, and reduced quality of life. This study 
aimed to compare the outcomes of intramedullary (IM) nailing and cemented plating in the 
surgical treatment of these fractures.
