Abstract

An elevated blood pressure is probably the most important public health problem in developed and developing counties as well. It is common, asymptomatic, readily detectable and usually easily treatable and if untreated often lead to lethal complication1. Bloodpressure is considered to be a 
continuously distributed variable and essential hypertension is one extreme of this distribution2.
