Background: The present study was conducted for evaluating results of operative and conservative Management of the patients 
having an appendicular lump. 
Materials & methods:60 patients diagnosed to be having appendicular lump formation were enrolled. Confirmation of the 
diagnosis was done on the basis of detailed clinical examination, biochemical profile, hematological examination and radiological
