Abstract

BACKGROUND:
Dental pulp stem cells (DPSCs) hold significant potential for regenerative endodontics due to their mesenchymal origin, which allows them to differentiate into odontoblast-like cells critical for pulp-dentin regeneration¹,². However, their successful migration to injury sites within the dental pulp is crucial for effective tissue repair. Migration is influenced by chemotactic signals and the extracellular environment, both of which can be modified to improve cellular responses³,⁴.
