ABSTRACT :-Background: High-sensitivity C-reactive protein (hsCRP) is an acute-phase reactant and a sensitive marker of systemic inflammation. Chronic low-grade inflammation, as evidenced by elevated hsCRP, is implicated in type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) and cardiovascular disease (CVD). This study investigates the relationship between hsCRP levels, metabolic control, and coronary artery disease (CAD) severity in diabetic patients.
