A large number of neoplastic and non-neoplastic lesions of the nose, paranasal sinuses & nasopharynx present as polypoidal lesions in the nasal cavity. It is quite impossible to distinguish clinically between simple nasal polyps, polypoidal lesions which are caused by
specific granulomatous diseases & polypoidal neoplasms
