A STUDY ON MORPHOLOGY OF PLACENTA WITH VARIOUS PARAMETRES

Abstract

Introduction: The intrauterine existence of fetus is dependent on one vital organ “THE 
PLACENTA”. Placenta is a vital organ for maintaining pregnancy & promoting normal foetal 
development 
Materials and Methods: The present study was conducted in the department of Anatomy, 
Sri Venkatasai Medical College, Mahabubnagar in collaboration with the Department of 
Obstetrics and Gynecology.
