Abstract

Objectives –Esophageal varices is a life-threatening complication of decompensated lever disease but requires invasive testing for
detection. This study aims to evaluate platelet count/spleen diameter as a non-invasive marker for detecting Esophageal varices in
Decompensated chronic liver disease patients.
Materials and Method: This study was conducted at S.V.B.P. Hospital in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh. 100 admitted stable Decompensated
