Abstract 
Background: The purpose of this study is to compare the rates of wound dehiscence between 
closed with sutures, N-butyl-2 cyanoacrylate glue, and tape. in order to evaluate how each 
closure method affects the rate of wound infection. so that we can evaluate how quickly each 
method allows the wound to heal. to compare the prices of the three different wound-closure 
options. evaluation of the cosmetic results of the three wound closure procedures. Evaluate 
how each closure choice is received by patients. in order to evaluate how happy surgeons are 
with each of the three closure options. Material and Methods: After obtaining the necessary 
approvals and consent from patients, a prospective randomised controlled study was 
conducted at Department of General Surgery, Malla Reddy Medical College for Women, 
Hyderabad, India, from November 2021 to October 2022, document the closure procedure for 
each patient using the randomisation chart.
