are a botanical source of various pharmaceutical active components like flavonoids , triterpenoids ,saponins
,tocopherol ,sterols ,phenolic acids ,alkaloids and biflavanols .this genus has various different species which are used
in treatment of inflammatory ,diabetes ,microbial infections ,ulcers ,tumor , aphrodisiac ,kidney and liver problems .
