Abstract

Aim: The aim of the present study was to assess the prevalence of tuberculosis among chronic 
synovitis cases by cartridge based nucleic acid amplification test
Material & methods: The study included specimens received between August 2022 to July 
2024. from JLN Medical College & Hospital, Ajmer. The patients’ socio-demographic 
characteristics from their test request form were collected, CBNAAT results from the CBNAAT 
register and PMDT culture and drug susceptibility testing (DST) register and validated the data 
by comparing the patient details and test results from the CBNAAT software.
