Background and Aims: Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) is a significant global health concern,
often referred to as the "silent epidemic" due to its widespread impact on mortality, disability,
and socio-economic factors. CT imaging has revolutionized the diagnosis and management of
TBI by enabling accurate detection of both primary injuries (e.g., hematomas and skull
fractures) and secondary complications (e.g., cerebral edema). This study aimed to evaluate
the role of CT imaging in TBI management by analyzing its diagnostic accuracy and
identifying demographic and injury-related patterns to optimize clinical protocols and patient
outcomes.
