The quest for effective anti-aging skin care solutions has led to the exploration of natural remedies,
among which polyherbal formulations combining ginseng and chamomile have garnered attention.
This abstract presents a detailed overview of the anti-aging properties of ginseng and chamomile, two
prominent herbal ingredients, when used in tandem for skin care. Ginseng renowned for its
adaptogenic properties, contains active compounds such as ginsenosides that exhibit potent
antioxidant effects. These compounds neutralize free radicals, thereby reducing oxidative stress,
which is a major contributor to skin aging. Additionally, ginseng has been shown to enhance collagen
synthesis, improve skin elasticity, and promote cellular regeneration, addressing common signs of
aging such as fine lines and sagging.
