The present study was undertaken by the investigator to assess the effectiveness of structured
teaching programme on knowledge regarding mental retardation in children among primary
school teachers in selected schools, district Fatehgarh sahib, Punjab. Quantitative research
approach and experimental research design was used to accomplish the stated objectives.
Data was collected with the help of self structured knowledge questionnaire. A pilot study
was done on (1/10th sample)
