Abstract

Background: Metabolic syndrome and thyroid disorders represent significant global health 
challenges with overlapping metabolic implications. This study was conducted to find the 
association between metabolic syndrome and thyroid disorders, and to determine the type of 
thyroid dysfunction in metabolic syndrome.
