Abstract

Background: In 2019, WHO declared that covid-19 was caused by the SARS- Co-V-2 virus. 
In many articles from the various journals, it is observed and concluded that, there is an inverse 
association between the serum calcitriol levels in moderate and severe covid-19 patients. So 
little know about the association, a systematic review and meta-analysis of seventeen studies 
were taken in to consideration. The aim of the article is to study the correlation between serum 
calcitriol level and COVID-19 infections in moderate and severe covid conditions.
