Emu scientifically known as Dromaius novaehollandiae is the second largest living flightless bird of world
belonging to order Ratite. Emu, the flightless bird native to Australia and found in many countries, is receiving
much attention for its nutritional benefits as well as its medicinal value [1]. Emu’s are nurtured in many parts of the
world for their meat, oil, skin and feathers, which are of high economic value.The anatomical and physiological
features of these birds appear to be suitable for temperate and tropical climatic conditions [2].
