Introduction:
Self-care practices refer to the set of behaviors, individuals with diabetes engage in to
manage their condition effectively. Simple lifestyle modifications, such as exercise, dietary
control, regular glucose monitoring, medication adherence, foot care, and avoidance of
harmful habits, are essential in preventing or delaying the onset of complications associated
with Type II diabetes.
