Abstract

Job satisfaction among healthcare workers is critical for delivering quality patient care and
organizational success. While extensively studied, research on private hospitals in developing
countries like India remains limited. This study aims to synthesize existing literature on factors
influencing job satisfaction in the healthcare sector, with a specific focus on private Indian
hospitals. By examining the relationship between job satisfaction and organizational
performance, this research seeks to identify key determinants of job satisfaction and provide
actionable recommendations for healthcare administrators to enhance employee well-being and
improve overall healthcare outcomes.
