Clinical Spectrum and Associated Factors of Dermatophytosis in a Tertiary Care Hospital: A Prospective Observational Study from Maharashtra

Abstract

Background: Dermatophytosis is one of the most common superficial fungal infections encountered in dermatology practice. Its clinical presentation is diverse, and recurrent and chronic infections have become increasingly important, particularly in tropical countries such as India. Environmental, behavioural and host-related factors may contribute
