Background: Psoriasis is a chronic inflammatory skin disorder associated with various
comorbidities. Metabolic syndrome (MetS), a cluster ofPanel
various clinical and biochemical parameters,
is a significant predictor of the associated risk for cardiovascular events. While previous studies have
suggested a link between psoriasis and MetS, limited research has investigated the prevalence of
MetS in psoriasis and its potential correlation with disease severity.
