Abstract

Background: Systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) is a chronic multisystem autoimmune disease characterized by periods of remission and exacerbation. Accurate identification of factors associated with increased disease activity is essential for optimizing patient management and preventing longterm organ damage. However, data regarding predictors of disease activity in Indian patients remain  limited.
