Introduction: Tympanic membrane is a membranous partition separating the external auditory meatus from the tympanic cavity. It is important to diagnose and treat the tympanic membrane perforation as early as possible as untreated tympanic membrane perforations leads to further hearing loss. Thus, the present study was undertaken to study the effect of site and size and shape
of the perforation on the degree of hearing loss.
