Abstract

Catheter ablation has become a cornerstone therapy for managing atrial fibrillation (AF), with the use of irrigation catheters enhancing lesion efficacy and reducing thromboembolic events. However, excessive irrigation volumes can result in volume overload, predisposing patients to heart failure (HF) during or after the procedure.
