.Abstract
Root surface biomodification involves altering the root surfaces of teeth or implants to enhance tissue response and improve clinical outcomes. Techniques such as enamel matrix proteins, growth factors, and laser treatments promote tissue regeneration, reduce inflammation, and improve implant integration. Additionally, these strategies help reduce bacterial colonization, prevent root resorption, and support periodontal regeneration. This review highlights recent advancements, biological mechanisms, clinical applications, and future directions to optimize the long-term success of dental treatments.
