Liver cirrhosis is a progressive disorder that significantly affects various organ systems,
including the cardiovascular system. Despite its clinical importance, the relationship between
cardiac dysfunction and cirrhosis severity remains underexplored. Cirrhotic cardiomyopathy,
characterized by systolic and diastolic dysfunction, is a common yet underdiagnosed
complication of liver cirrhosis.
