Abstract

Introduction: Salivary pH and its enzymatic contents determine oral health and onset of oral diseases. Salivary pH may be considered as a biomarker for diagnosis of many oral and systemic diseases. Objectives: To assess and compare the salivary pH among diabetics and smokers with chronic periodontitis.
