Abstract

BACKGROUND: Prehypertension (PHT) in young adults are essential risk factors for other cardiovascular diseases (CVD) in later years of life. However, there is a lack of knowledge about the burden and risk factors of PHT for youths. AIMS & OBJECTIVE:To assess the magnitude, prevalence and risk factors associated with pre-hypertension among young adults (19-50 years) in Madhubani district of Bihar India.
