Maternal and Neonatal outcomes in high-risk pregnancies: A prospective study from the department of obstetrics and gynecology, Srinivas Institute of Medical Sciences, Mangalore

Abstract

Objective: To evaluate maternal and neonatal outcomes in high-risk pregnancies managed at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Srinivas Institute of Medical Sciences, Mangalore, between January 2024 and June 2024. Methods: A prospective observational study was conducted on 250 pregnant women with high-risk factors such as gestational hypertension, gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM), preterm labor, intrauterine growth restriction (IUGR), and multiple gestations. Maternal complications, neonatal outcomes, and interventions were analyzed.
