INTRODUCTION: Glycemic management is critical for lowering macro and microvascular complications in individuals with type 2 diabetic mellitus (Type 2 DM). Albuminuria is the most common early indicator of diabetic nephropathy. Meanwhile, HbA1c has been identified as a glycemic control measure in blood. The purpose of this study was to determine the association between HbA1c and microalbuminuria in type 2 diabetes mellitus patients.
