Evaluation of Diabetic Macular Edema Using Optical Coherence Tomography and Its Correlation with Visual Acuity: A Cross-Sectional Study
DOI:
https://doi.org/10.48047/Abstract
Background: Diabetic macular edema (DME) is the leading cause of vision loss in patients
with diabetic retinopathy. Optical coherence tomography (OCT) is a non-invasive imaging
modality that allows quantitative and morphological assessment of macular changes.
Objective: To evaluate the structural features of DME using OCT and to analyze their
correlation with best corrected visual acuity (BCVA) in diabetic patients.
