Abstract

Background: Heart organs damage occurs when the increase in free radicals cannot be balanced by the antioxidants. The edible bird’s nest (EBN; Collocalia fuciphaga) contains many amino acids and vitamins that may stimulate antioxidant activity. The cardioprotective nature of the this nest is expected to be the basis of management for heart disease patients.
