Abstract

Background & Methods: The aim of the study is to compare USG guided erector spinae plane block with serratus anterior plane block for management of perioperative analgesia in patients undergoing thoracotomy. History taking, clinical examination, routine investigations, and echocardiography were done preoperatively. Results: There was significant difference observed between VAS score of ESP and SAP Block at the 8th hour. Compared lung functions between the ESPB and SAPB groups. The mean FEV1, FVC, and FEV1/FVC ratios were measured pre- and post-operatively. No Significant differences were observed in almost parameters.
