Background: Snakebite envenomation is a significant public health issue in India, particularly in rural regions like Bihar. Understanding the sociodemographic profile of affected individuals is crucial for developing effective prevention and treatment strategies. Objectives: This study aimed to analyze the sociodemographic characteristics, clinical presentations, treatment outcomes, and barriers to effective management of snakebite cases at Narayan Medical College and Hospital (NMCH) in Jamuhar, Sasaram, Bihar, over a period of 12 months.
