Abstract

Background and Rationale Protein separation is essential in biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, and clinical diagnostics, where precise protein profiling can inform biomarker discovery, therapeutic monitoring, and disease diagnostics. Traditional techniques like capillary electrophoresis (CE) and chromatography offer valuable but limited solutions for complex protein mixtures due to issues with resolution and sensitivity. This study explores the potential of a hybrid CE-chromatography system to overcome these limitations, providing enhanced protein separation through the complementary strengths of both methods.
