Background: CKD has now emerged as a public health problem with a worldwide prevalence of around 8-16% and >10% prevalence in the adult population of the United States.Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) imposes a substantial burden on global health, but the leading causes of morbidity and mortality among CKD patients are cardiovascular diseases (CVD), particularly atherosclerotic coronary artery disease.The present study was conducted to evaluate lipid profile in CKD patients on conservative management and on haemodialysis
