Abstract

Background: Obstructive sleep apnoea (OSA) is a prevalent sleep disorder that significantly affects cardiovascular health. The disorder is characterized by repetitive episodes of upper airway obstruction during sleep, leading to disrupted breathing, oxygen desaturation, and various cardiovascular complications, including hypertension and dyslipidemia. This study aims to assess the impact of OSA on cardiovascular parameters in patients attending a tertiary care hospital in Chitradurga.
