.Abstract
Background: Fistula-in-ano has been a worrisome clinical entity throughout the surgical history to both patients and surgeons. The chronicity of the disease associated with its annoying symptoms like Soiling, pruritis and recurrent suppuration renders an otherwise healthy and active person, an economic burden, retraction from social engagements and loss of self-confidence. New sphincter-saving approaches have been applied in the treatment of fistula in ano in order to reduce the risk of fecal incontinence. One among them, is the fibrin glue technique.
