Background: Postoperative atrial fibrillation (POAF) is a common complication following cardiac surgery, associated with increased morbidity and prolonged hospital stays. Identifying reliable predictors for POAF is crucial for risk stratification and implementing preventive strategies. This retrospective study aimed to evaluate clinical, inflammatory, electrocardiographic, and echocardiographic predictors of new-onset POAF in patients undergoing cardiac surgery.
