Background: Coagulase Negative Staphylococci (CoNS) are commonly found on human skin and mucous membranes and have historically been considered contaminants. However, they have emerged as significant opportunistic pathogens, particularly in hospital settings. This study aims to assess the prevalence, speciation, and antibiotic susceptibility patterns of CoNS at a tertiary care hospital, CIMS, Bilaspur.
