Background: Acute appendicitis is a common cause of emergency abdominal surgery, presenting diagnostic challenges due to variable symptoms and potential complications. Ultrasonography (USG) is a key imaging tool for diagnosis. Objective: This study evaluates the diagnostic efficacy of direct and indirect ultrasonographic signs in patients with suspected acute appendicitis in a tertiary care setting.
