Abnormalities like placenta previa and invasive placentas increase the risk of hemorrhage, threatening maternal and fetal health. Major risk factors include previous cesarean sections, uterine surgeries, and advanced maternal age. Early diagnosis is crucial to reduce complications such as preterm birth and low birth weight.
