Abstract

Background: Pneumonia is an inflammation of the lung parenchyma and is one of the leading infectious causes of death globally in children less than 5 years of age. Material and methods: A cross sectional study was conducted in PICU of a tertiary care hospital in children aged between 2 months to 5 years diagnosed to have WHO defined pneumonia.
