Evaluation of endothelial cell count in stop and chop vs direct chop technique of phaco emulsification

Abstract

Aim: To evaluate the endothelial cell count in patients undergoing cataract surgery by direct chop vs stop and chop method of phacoemulsification at Government Medical College Amritsar. Design: Prospective randomized trial over two years conducted on 100 eyes with nuclear sclerosis grade 3,4 cataracts.
