Abstract

Background: Mild to severe kidney damage resulting in retaining of nitrogenous and other waste products is known as Acute kidney injury (AKI). Very few studies are reported against AKI, thus, the present study was conducted to investigate the occurrence and outcomes of AKI in ICU. Methods: Total of 150 patients admitted to the ICU were enrolled for the study. Patients were categorized into different AKI stages, SOFA and APACHE scores were calculated.
