Background: Psoriasis is a common skin disease affecting approximately 1%–3% of the population, and the incidence rate is increasing yearly. Psoriasis is associated with a dramatically increased risk of cardiovascular disease. The aim of the present study is to assess the plasma lipid profile parameters and their internal ratios to assess their relationship to cardiovascular risk in psoriasis patients.
